Polar Bear By Robert Bateman

By Robert Bateman

I have shown this bear coming around the corner of a wave-worn, rocky shoreline. He is striding through the puddles which have been left by the tide. This indicates the coastal nature of the polar bearís habitat. Although they may range many miles inland and have been seen swimming far out to sea, they are primarily found where the arctic waters meet the land. - Robert Bateman
