1994 Texas Quail Stamp Print - Bobwhite by James Hautman Northern Bobwhite. (Colinus virginianus). Signed and Numbered Artist Proof Print with a 6.5 x 9 Image Size for sale for only $145 and an additional $5 for the stamp. The adult Bobwhite is reddish-brown above, with irregular chestnut streaks on the sides and a white breast and belly mottled with black. The male has a white throat and a white line from the upper mandible over the eye and down the side of the neck. There is a contrasting black stripe that extends from the back of the eye to the side of the neck.
