"PEP TALK" captures the wide-eyed enthusiasm of a young hockey player getting support and advice from the "star" athlete of the local high school, a familiar scene that is played out at rinks and ponds allover the north country.

"Pep Talk" was featured on the cover of the Boys' State Hockey Tournament in 2003. This is the sixth year that the art of Terrence Fogarty has been featured on the tournament cover. It is indeed a privilege to be part of such a traditional part of Minnesota's sports heritage.
