Charles Peterson's fifth in a seven print series, A week In Door County is Gil's Rock - Foggy Wednesday Gil's Rock, at the northern end of the peninsula, is one of the few remaining ports still active in commercial fishing. Charles Peterson has long been fasinated with the hazardous work of these men and the tools of the trade: floats, traps, crates, net driers, and fish smokers. Charles Peterson has imagined a couple of fishermen here, one who fishes for business and one for pleasure, asking that universal question of fishermen, Any Luck? Keep in mind that there are only 600 signed and numbered prints in this low edition. It is printed on authentic watercolor paper for a look so close to the original that they are almost indistinguishable. Print ships early June 2007. This item will ship in May or early June. This is the fifth in the A Week in Door County series. Gills rock is at the Northern tip of Door County aand is still active in commercial fishing. You will not want to miss this wonderful image.
