Wrong Basin By Jim Tschetter

Wrong Basin by Jim Tschetter.

This was the original situation that confirmed the naming of "Wrong Basin". I was helping a new guide pack out a bull which he told me was in "Bull Basin". Instead, it was in the next basin north (the other side of a steep, north-facing ridge, that was all "iced up") - It was obviously the wrong basin that day. We still take a lot of bulls from this same spot, although we always use our North Timberline Trail to go both in and out of it.
