1985-1986 Federal Duck Stamp Print by Gerald Mobley US Federal Duck Stamp Print (1985-1986) Cinnamon Teal by Gerald Mobley with Stamp Cinnamon Teal.

Wildlife artist Gerald Mobley was born in Rector, Arkansas, on February 16, 1938. Although his family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma when he was five, as a youth he returned often to their home farm in Arkansas.

His interest in the outdoors continues today. Gerald Mobley enjoys bass fishing and hunting. He is a member of Ducks Unlimited and is active with several other conservation groups.

A successful commercial artist, he heads his own Mobley Art and Design studio in Tulsa, known the past two decades especially for its outstanding graphic design of national Christian magazines.

Doing his own photography, Gerald Mobley frequented the very refuges that the Federal Duck Stamps in the past had helped establish. Through his photos, the study of taxidermy, and attendance at both federal and state duck stamp art competitions, he quickly mastered the art.

In 1983 and 1985 he won the Oklahoma Duck Stamp award, and in the past three years has been a finalist in the Nevada Stamp competition.
