New Release - River Crow By Howard Terpning

River Crow by Howard Terpning

Anthropologists suggest that the Crow People originated as a distinct cultural unit somewhere in the vicinity of southeastern Canada.

Centuries ago they began a gradual migration westward and eventually settled among the Mandan, at the confluence of the Missouri and Heart Rivers, near present day Bismark, North Dakota. By the 18th century they had moved further west, before a time when horses revolutionized life on the northern plains.
